Admission to a DCS, ACS or part-time credit courses

Adult applicants have access to college programs that lead to one of the following diplomas:

  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS)
  • Attestation of College Studies (ACS)

Admission to a DCS

Programs that lead to a DCS are for the most part offered in regular education. Adults can be admitted to and study in these programs alongside a younger clientele. For information on applying to a regular full-time DCS, click here.

Certain colleges, however, offer a certain number of DCS programs specifically designed for an adult clientele. Applications are done directly with the cégep.  You can find a list of those special DCS at

Admission to an ACS

The admission and registration periods for ACS vary. An ACS can begin at any time of the year. The full-time or part-time programs can be held during the day or in the evening. Contact the establishment offering the attestation to obtain further details.

You can find the list of available ACS at
